Kimberly Slentz-Kesler’s past choral involvement includes the University of Virginia Women's Chorus, the Virginia Belles, the Duke Chorale, the Choral Society of Durham, and the Vocal Arts Ensemble of Durham. She is also the former director of the renaissance chamber ensemble River Tones. In her non-musical life, she has a PhD in biochemistry & genetics and has been known to tinker with microarrays and genomes. She is a fan of donuts and yoga.
